Rubbish collection
Every Tuesday: Blue Bags
Every 2nd Tuesday: Recycling bin, TCDC crate
Please make sure that your rubbish is taken to the kerbside by 9am.
Household rubbish must be placed in Blue Bags which can be purchased at the Matarangi Four Square.
Glass bottles and Glass jars must be placed in your TCDC crate.

Other recycling items go in your recycling bin. Recycling items are paper, cardboard, cans and plastic 1 & 2.

Collections are on Wednesday's when a public holiday has fallen on the previous weekend.

You can also drop your rubbish at the Matarangi Transfer Station.
Fire permits
Always consider the risks before lighting an open fire, as Emergency response can be costly to landowners if it gets out of control.

During the dryer months there is a closed open fire season, so please check the TCDC website for rules and regulations.

The Matarangi Ratepayers Association is a non-profit charitable organisation. Its purpose is to conserve, promote and advance the interests and welfare of the Matarangi community and represent our views to the Thames-Coromandel District Council, Waikato Regional Council and other parties.
